Welcome to the Project Design bootcamp! This bootcamp equips youth with climate ideas, projects, or early initiatives to move from ideas to projects, from projects to initiatives, and from initiatives to policy-aligned action. Participants will strengthen core competencies in project design, business readiness, and policy alignment, building the clarity, credibility, and long-term impact of youth-led climate initiatives. Key focus areas include applied project design, business readiness, and policy alignment, delivered through the following structured workshops:
24 March 2026: Project Design 101 – Turning Ideas into Projects (13:00 UTC)
31 March 2026: Business Readiness 101 – Turning Projects into Initiatives (12:00 UTC)
7 April 2026: Policy Readiness 101 – Turning Initiatives into Policy Action (12:00 UTC)
- 15 April: Virtual Climate Climate Café (13 UTC)
As a cohort member attending the Project Design bootcamp, you are expected to attend each of the 3 sessions, actively participate in discussions between the sessions on this platform, and participate in the virtual climate café. Please note that full participation and attendance of all bootcamp sessions is required to receive your certificate of completion.
This group within the Youth4Climate platform is your one-stop shop for engaging with fellow program participants after each bootcamp session - share your reflections, experiences, resources, and skills so others can learn from you, and react to the content of others so you can learn more yourself.
Active participation on the platform is also accompanied by a point system - the more you engage, the more points you earn, eventually rewarding you with badges and milestones to recognize your contributions. More information on the platform's gamification features can be found here.
DISCLAIMER: Participation in this channel does not automatically register you for the mentorship programme or bootcamp sessions. To take part, you must complete the required “Systems Change x Behavioural Science for Climate Action” prerequisite e-course and sign up using the official registration form.
