Hi everyone,

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the true impact of individual actions in tackling the global climate crisis.

On one hand, many believe that everyday lifestyle changes—like cutting down on single-use plastics, conserving energy, choosing green transport, or switching to a plant-forward diet—can create a massive ripple effect when adopted en masse. On the other hand, there's a strong argument that these effort-heavy personal steps are mostly symbolic, and real progress can only be driven by top-down government regulations, corporate accountability, and structural policy shifts.

Where do you stand on this debate?

  • Do individual eco-habits actually move the needle on global emissions, or are they a distraction from system-level change?
  • Have you adopted sustainable habits that successfully inspired those in your immediate circle to follow suit?
  • Should the youth shift focus away from personal carbon footprints and channel more energy into political activism, voting, and systemic advocacy?

I’d love to hear your thoughts and perspectives on this!
