Hi everyone,
I have been thinking about how much individual action really matters when it comes to climate change.
Some people say small habits like using less plastic, saving electricity, walking more, or eating less meat can add up if enough people do them. Others feel that the bigger impact has to come from governments, large companies, and stronger environmental policies.
What do you think?
Do personal lifestyle changes actually make a real difference, or are they mostly symbolic? Have you changed any habits yourself, and did that influence people around you?
I also wonder if young people should spend more energy on activism, voting, and pushing for policy changes instead of only focusing on personal responsibility.
Would be interested to hear different opinions.
Hello Cavendish, I believe that volunteerism helps in climate combating issues, I did a short survey on how young individuals perceive climate change and would they be able to volunteer in awareness and public forums, most said yes but to take this thing into action required a team a support. I surely take your side that young people should spend time on activism and policy making.
