We are excited to share that the We Lead, We Educate Global Education Summit is returning in 2026!
Organized by Educational Guidance Development Initiative (College Guide Africa), the second edition of the summit will take place virtually from December 10th to December 12th, 2026.
The We Lead, We Educate Global Education Summit 2026 is a three-day virtual global summit bringing together students, recent graduates, young professionals, educators, researchers, leaders, organisations and other members of the education and youth development community to discuss, learn from and shape conversations around the future of education.
This year's theme is:
Shaping the Future of Education: Learning, Skills, Opportunity and Leadership
Following our first edition in 2024, WLE returns as a biennial global education summit, creating a space for different generations, backgrounds and experiences to come together and explore the issues shaping how young people learn, develop skills, access opportunities and prepare for the future.
This year's conversations will explore topics including:
- The future of education and what needs to change
- Life after school and preparing for the next stage
- Skills for a changing world
- University, scholarships, internships and other opportunities
- The transition from education to professional life
- Building careers in a changing world
- Youth voice and leadership in education
- Student wellbeing, belonging and support
- Global learning, opportunities and education without borders
A key part of WLE is ensuring that the conversation is not limited to traditional experts. We want to hear from people who work in education, but also from those who are currently experiencing it. Students, recent graduates and young professionals have valuable perspectives on what is working, what is not, and what they believe needs to change.

Speakers
Share your knowledge, professional experience, research, lived experience or perspective as part of one of our sessions.
Moderators
Guide conversations, ask thoughtful questions, connect different perspectives and help create engaging discussions.
Hosts
Help welcome participants, support session introductions and transitions, and contribute to creating a smooth and engaging virtual experience.
Delegates
Join the summit to learn, ask questions, connect with participants from different backgrounds and countries, and take part in the wider conversations.
