Metal-Organic Frameworks or MOFs are like a jail that can keep molecules in it by its very special electrical force of electrons!
The idea is connected to biology and makes it a bit complicated.
There are 3 usual types of plants in photosynthesis
- C3 plants that are actually the most usual ones , lots of plants are C3 , they have a lot of CO2 using capacity BUT it uses CO2 slowly! C3 like πΉ& πΎ
- C4 plants can live in hard weather condition like low level of water and high level of temperature, they actually have the lowest capacity of CO2 while fastest use of it. C4 like π½

CAM plants are something both BUT they can live in super hard wheather condition! CAM Like π΅ & π
Now that we know about them , it's time to use them for good !
MOFs that use Aluminum are the best choices to capture CO2 and jail them , they are made for this AND they are cheap !
So :
- We use Aluminum MOFs on the places that free the most atmospher CO2 like industrial smokestacks !
- They hold the CO2
- We make a big Semi-closed greenhouse
- They can release CO2 next to CAM plants in Semi-closed greenhouse in deserts to start desert greening
- Releasing CO2 doesn't need something special, it needs some converging lenses tp fouces on MOFs and that energy is enough to release CO2 there !
- CAM plants now have CO2 fertilization And grow much better with more foods ! π
- CAM plants can make a rich soil
