From Tunisia πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡³ to Rwanda πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ό  : all the stories behind , an Authentic moment I'll carry with me for a long time  πŸ’β˜ΊοΈ
Last week, I had the honor of speaking at the Africa Mindset Reset Forum in Kigali a gathering of over 2,500 delegates, including heads of state, policymakers, and young changemakers from across the continent, under the theme "From Pan-Africanism to Meta-Africanism."
I was honored to be part of the panel 'Spotlighting Mindset-Shifting Initiatives Among Us,' moderated by Israel Laryea , Executive Head at Influencer Africa.
Really the panel brought together inspiring initiatives from North, East, West, Central, and Southern Africa , each showing what mindset change looks like on the ground. Even when change starts locally, we believe its impact can be global .
So , I took the stage to share my storytelling of She Lead Oasis 0.1.2 β™»οΈπŸŽ™οΈπŸŒ΄πŸ§‘β€πŸŒΎ, a grassroots-to-scale-up journey that began with a simple observation: women farmers in South Tunisia's oasis communities were doing the hardest work, yet remained invisible in decision-making spaces. In addition to their mainly challenge related to financial access , economic model & visibility lack .  That is why She Lead Oasis was created. And that is why a change in mindset is needed  , only about 80 % of farmers are recognized as women workers in the Oasis  .
From stakeholder mapping to co-designing economic models with local cooperatives, from storytelling through 20+ podcast episodes to deliberation of the Oasis Think Tank Policy Challenge in FAO WFF 20K24 , till now we led an inspiring leadership change in such specific area like Oases region in Kebili .
Just a few messages from me , as a youngchangemaker , to everyonewho believes in the wealth , health and potentiel of  Africa  : " we designed new pathways to foster young mindsets and future leadership ,  an open call to all young future leaders to collaborate and build the Africa that  we deserve. As I mentioned , there are just two things we need to shift mindsets: a kind soul, a big heart, and simply being human "
Grateful to African School of Governance - ASG  for the platform, and to every donor, partner, and cooperative that believed in this vision from day one. 🌍
Meeting the teams of ICOYACA & AGRA in person was another important milestone in this journey . Grateful to Emolot Allan David and Anele Simon .
A big thank you to the team behind such an incredible organization Georgie Ndirangu Douglas D. Njiraini
