Mensieur Elly

The Go Green Campaign aims to empower individuals, communities, and organizations with knowledge and tools to combat the pressing challenges of climate change and conservation. By fostering a deep sense of collective responsibility and ownership, we strive to catalyze positive action that drives real, tangible change within the Kilimanjaro region and beyond. Together, we embark on a journey to protect our planet and safeguard its future for generations to come. First of the several projects is the “serve the maasai ritual forest mountain reserve together with the community” “West Kili Forest Tour Challenge”/ www.westkili.co.tz  www.cyca.or.tz which laid the foundation for this campaign.

Thrilled to see the Go Green & Serve Nature Campaign taking root in the Kilimanjaro region. Initiatives like the ‘Serve the Maasai Ritual Forest Mountain Reserve’ project are crucial for community-driven conservation efforts. It’s inspiring to witness a collective commitment to preserving our natural heritage. I’m particularly interested in how the ‘West Kili Forest Tour Challenge’ will engage and educate participants while promoting environmental stewardship. Looking forward to learning more and exploring ways to contribute to these meaningful projects.

I am very glad to be part of this event. In the Gambia, we are taking giant strikes to go green by planting more plants within the communities. The coming weekend, I will join Association members as the President to plant 200 trees in our communities
