Do I apply for the mentor only when I have already prepared my budget and workplan.
Also when I apply for a mentor he or she will be with me through out my application process to answer any doubt and where I’ll be facing difficulties or it will be a one day session and done?!

FATOUMATA FOFANA

Thanks, Ruhama for your question, please note that you will have to prepare and share your workplan and budget when submitting the form. Also, the mentor will only have one session with you for 45min therefore we encourage you to prepare your questions before your session with your assigned mentor. Please make sure you read the call guidelines carefully and prepare your application accordingly.
Thanks

Hello Lubala,
You can draft your workplan and budget using the provided template first, then register to the 1-to1 mentorship. Once you and your mentor have reviewed and refined your drafted WP and budget, you can proceed with the submitting your application.

Thanks for your question, actually, it depends on you but it is recommended to apply for the mentorship first before applying as it will help you refine your solutions before applying to the Y4C 2026
