Welcome to the Climate Catalysts Mentorship Programme 3.0 Entrepreneurial Mindsets bootcamp!
The Youth4Capacity team is excited to have you join us as we explore how entrepreneurial thinking can help turn climate challenges into practical solutions. Across three interactive workshops, you will learn how to identify a climate problem, understand who experiences it and what they need, generate and test potential solutions, and explore how ideas can move from an early concept towards readiness and sustainability. Whether or not you intend to start a company, this bootcamp will introduce you to practical approaches for thinking about and developing climate solutions.
To get started, we invite you to share a short introduction (4–6 sentences) about yourself, including your interests or work related to climate solutions and what you hope to gain from this bootcamp. As an icebreaker, tell us:
What climate problem would you like to solve, and what is one idea or approach you would like to explore to address it?
We also encourage you to take some time to read, react to, and respond to the introductions of other participants. By sharing your ideas, experiences, and perspectives, you can learn from one another, explore different approaches to climate challenges, and build connections with others working towards climate solutions.

My name is Kainat Arif. I am a student of Applied Microbiology. My areas of interest are: Bioremediation, Water Conservation, Environment Protection, Sustainable Agriculture Practices. I have the knowledge of all these areas. What I require is a project where I can practically utilise my knowledge of the following subject matters. And with Youth4Climate, I’m hopeful for any such opportunity.
Great perspective,Kainat ! I'm working on similar challenges in Brazil. Would love to exchange ideas.

Hi everyone! I’m Fionolla from Uganda, a mechanical engineer and climate entrepreneur working with Protone Energies on circular clean-energy solutions. I’m passionate about finding practical ways to make clean energy more affordable while reducing the waste created by our current systems. One climate problem I’m helping to solve is the growing amount of battery waste and the “use, replace and discard” mindset that comes with it. I’m exploring how we can make repair, reuse and restore a normal part of the energy system, rather than immediately replacing products when they fail. I’m excited to learn from everyone here, especially about how we can better understand people’s needs, test ideas and turn climate solutions into something that can genuinely scale.😇
Hi Fionolla! Great to meet you. Your work on circular clean-energy solutions in Uganda sounds very relevant. I'm working on migrant integration in southern Brazil, and I'm curious to see how climate mobility connects to energy access. Looking forward to learning from your experience! 🌍
Hi Amr, great to meet you too! Thanks for your kind words. Your work on migrant integration in southern Brazil sounds really interesting. I agree that climate mobility and energy access are closely connected, especially when communities are rebuilding and adapting. I’d love to hear more about what you’re seeing on the ground. Looking forward to learning from each other! 🌍⚡
FIONOLLA ASHABA Thanks, Fionolla! I'd love to continue this conversation. Feel free to connect — I'm sure there's a lot we can learn from each other.
